What's good about using an Ozone Air Purifier in your home.  What are the downsides of ozone air purifier use.

Using an ozone air purifier is good because it kills bacteria instead of just trapping it.  This leaves no room for the pollutants to escape back up into your air.  Because it uses ozone, this air purifier needs no filters.

An ozone air purifier is very effective on odors.  One thing it does not do is remove dander from the air.  A person with allergies to animal dander will not be helped by an ozone air purifier.

Ionization is a byproduct of ozone air purifier methods.  The output of ions is not nearly as high as with an ionizer though.  And too much ozone can be bad for you.  Nitrogen oxides are a lung irritant and some ozone air purifier models produce them.

So just read the specifications of your ozone air purifier before you buy.  Make sure it has adjustable settings so you can regulate the amount of ozone that is produced.  You want your air purifier to be safe.
